De Nederlandse religieuze Minke de Vries was van 1970 tot 1999 priorin van de oecumenische communiteit van Grandchamp in Areuse (Zwitserland), een internationale zustergemeenschap die verbonden is aan de Église Réformée van Neuchâtel in Zwitserland. Zij overleed 19 oktober 2013 op 84-jarige leeftijd.Grandchamp volgt dezelfde leefregel als Taizé. Haar autobiografische boek Christen zijn vandaag. Monastieke inspiratie (2009) verscheen ook in het Frans, Italiaans en Pools. Zuster Minke was sterk actief in de oecumenische beweging en werd vaak gevraagd retraites te leiden. De religieuze droeg in 1995 tijdens de traditionele kruisweg van paus Joannes Paulus II op Goede Vrijdag in het Colosseum van Rome het kruis langs enkele staties.
